Magnext was founded in 2005 as a tape library repair & upgrade company to help businesses reduce their IT expenditures when they experienced a hardware failure, or required additional tape storage capacity. Companies benefited by repairing failed tape libraries, or upgrading backup libraries to higher capacities-all at a much lower cost versus acquiring brand new equipment.
